Margery's "Burchell's Zebra"

Although severely deaf, I achieved GCE 'A' levels in Art Painting and Computer Science, followed by a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mathematics, Statistics and Computing. I then embarked on a very enjoyable career in IT, before taking early retirement at the end of 2009.

My first SLR was bought in 1975, as a means of recording images that would then be used to make up the components for my paintings and drawings, of animals and birds in their natural settings.

Over time, as my enjoyment of the different aspects of photography grew, photography became my main interest.

Using the same artistic skills on my photographic images, I feel I have now come full circle.
